Advertise to yourself

Apple, Blackberry, Nokia, BMW, Ferrari, Toyota, Chevrolet, Giorgio Armani, Dolce and Gabbana , Gucci, Louis Vuitton ,Ernest and Young, Facebook and Twitter. On a day to day basis we find ourselves exposed to hearing or seeing most of the above leading brands. Some brands are specific to countries and are associated with certain groups or classes of people in the society whilst others are popular because of their quality, accessibility, durability, price and who or what people associate them with. One of the most surviving brands is probably the Coca-cola soft drink which and been there since the 1886 and has continued to be consumed and expand and command a larger market share. If we can brand product and they become successful, they enrich us why can’t we also brand ourselves at individual level?
As human beings we tend to forget that beyond all these manmade brands there is a bigger brand and product which is you, for we are all moving brand ourselves. What or who we are associated with determines if we can have a lasting impression and goodwill like Coca-cola .Human beings are the most important brand in the world. The difference between influential people and those who are not is in the individual ability to advertise. Before you advertise to other people, you should always start by advertising to yourself as this determines your value as a product. Self advertising increases your level of self-motivation. With levels of self motivation, we unleash the potential in us, we expand demand for our services, we gain competitiveness and remain relevant. We become great brands when we start by advertising to ourselves, for without advertising our goals to ourselves, we fail to realize that it’s our day, our time our moment to succeed. If you don't believe in yourself, who then do you think will do so? As a brand always seek to start the by painting a picture of what you want to achieve. You are the picture frame and the characters in the picture are the people surrounding you .They determine whether the picture is beautiful or dull looking and whether it shall be your own version of the Monalisa and be marvelled at for centuries or it will be a picture to forget.

Money :Is it the greatest source of motivation?

Some call it cash money, imali, muler  ,some say its the love of it is the root of all evil whilst others say it makes the world go around. The most interesting thing about money is that some of us cannot leve without it and neither can they live with it for to them its a case of "more money more problems" .Over the years, scholars have argued that: "the greatest source of motivation is money.Well we all need money as a means of exchange and to facilitate trade transactions and a store of value .However ,to a greater extent money has failed to motivate many people for  the greatest motivator is a strong, clear and passionate vision. This surpasses the desire for money or any gain whatsoever!Money cannot buy you a vision but a clear vision can get you money.

Hour glass

"Again, again!" a voice echoed in my head "on 3 ok, 1-2-3" at that cue I felt electricity run through my body and I wished I could scream. The voice went on but slowly fading away, the beeps and the noises their shoes made too. Eventually it was totally silent and nothing made a sound. Scared to open my eyes because I had no memory of what had happened last I heard voices. The more I heard the voices the more I got scared, then that beeping sound again, now a little irritating then the voices got louder and louder. Curiously I slowly opened my eyes with a soft groan to the light in my eyes. Looking around I could tell I was in a theatre, four nurses and a doctor stood around a bed and the doctor's voice dominated the room with him giving orders. As the nurses rushed around I moved closer to get a good look at what was happening, though it seemed impossible for anyone to have missed me no one seemed to notice me. As I got closer to the bed fear gripped me and
